CBA aims to enhance the learner’s sector-domain specialist skills with fundamental and emerging Training & Adult Education (TAE) competencies to take on the business transformation challenges affecting enterprises and workers.

Course introduction

Competency-based training (CBT) is an approach to vocational education and training that places emphasis on what a person can do in the workplace as a result of completing a training program. The 16 hour CBA course is a targeted course tailored specifically for existing or aspiring assessors of CBT and equips you with skills and knowledge on how to conduct a competency based assessment and interpret an assessment plan.

CBA aims to enhance the learner’s sector-domain specialist skills with fundamental and emerging Training & Adult Education (TAE) competencies to take on the business transformation challenges affecting enterprises and workers.

This course is a generic skill and can be contextualized towards industry, company or organizational standard operating procedures.

Assessment

In order to complete the course, the candidate(s) have to pass a 1 hour assessment consisting of oral questioning and a role play. Following which, the candidate will be issued a statement of achievement from 2iB Partners on Conduct Competency Based Assessment (CBA) V1.
