For Dbyt self-check submissions, you should not submit passwords, NRIC numbers, bank details, confidential documents, highly sensitive personal data, or information that you are not authorised to share.
2. Purposes of Collection, Use, and Disclosure
2iB Partners may collect, use, and disclose personal data for the following purposes:
a. responding to enquiries;
b. administering training, advisory, review, consultancy, and implementation engagements;
c. reviewing Dbyt Readiness Self-Check submissions;
d. generating readiness indicators, internal review notes, risk flags, follow-up guidance, and action recommendations;
e. arranging review calls or follow-up discussions;
f. providing relevant information about Dbyt, data protection, data governance, AI/data readiness, training, advisory, or implementation support;
g. improving our services, templates, workflows, and internal processes;
h. maintaining records for operational, administrative, audit, security, and legal purposes; and
i. complying with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.
3. Dbyt Readiness Self-Check
The Dbyt Readiness Self-Check is intended as a practical readiness diagnostic. It is not a legal opinion, certification, formal audit, or breach determination.
Self-check responses may be reviewed internally by 2iB Partners to identify possible readiness gaps and suitable follow-up actions. Where further advisory, training, review, or implementation support may be relevant, we may contact you using the details you provided.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell personal data.
We may disclose personal data where necessary to service providers, professional advisers, authorised personnel, or approved delivery partners who support our operations or engagements. Where we involve external parties, we will limit disclosure to what is reasonably necessary and require appropriate confidentiality and data protection safeguards.
For Dbyt self-check submissions, we do not share raw submission details with external trainers, consultants, or implementation partners unless there is a proper basis to do so, such as your consent, your request, or suitable confidentiality and data protection arrangements.
5. Protection of Personal Data
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data in our possession or under our control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks.
Access to Dbyt self-check submissions and related review records is limited to authorised persons who require access for review, follow-up, operational, advisory, or administrative purposes.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, for business and legal purposes, or as required or permitted by law.
For Dbyt public beta submissions, we may retain self-check responses and related review records for up to 24 months for review, follow-up, service improvement, audit trail, and operational purposes, unless earlier deletion is requested and we are able to comply.

You may contact us if you wish to request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a data protection enquiry.
